Opening: Advance Caro 8. .. Qb6 was not accurate. a6 would have been just as good, ignoring and working on castling even better
This was a fine position to be in mid game:

Blunders:

Here I played .. Ke7 and trapped my own knight. I literally did not consider for one second it being trapped and that the K was taking the last square for it.
Despite that, the opponent blunders and I had this:

and I lost it due to a combination of:
- Not considering Rook on c1 once the king moved to back row, so I could advance
- Time trouble (darn 10+0 format)
Game of the dueling trapped knights.

Opening: Hillbilly Caro

I was a bit flustered, accidentally starting another 10+0 instead of a 15+10, and completely though the queen was defending d4 for some crazy reason and didn't take the free pawn.

In this position, I went for a bit of a crazy plan:
- Be4, to get my knight there after the trade
- Bh4, trying to get a kingside attack going
It shouldn't have worked, but it did:

However, I played Qf6 instead of f5 which was the right call. At this point the position got locked up and I needed to play queenside.
Blunders:

I had 2:30 on the clock to 5:30 and rushed playing Ng6 still hoping for an attack, hanging the e6 pawn. The knight got in my backrank and I was toast, especially with the clock.
Overall Lessons
- I do not play 10+0 well, if I want to play that time control I need to play the middlegame much faster
- I do not check for trapped pieces and pawns that are hanging consistently.
- I absolutely need to be more attentive to trapped pieces, in particular knights.
