Opening: QGD - Semi Slav
In this position I miscalculated and played e4, and was punished by Bxc3, Bxc3, Nxe4 losing the pawn.
Blunders:
Down two pawns, I went all in on a pawn storm:
I did not calculate well and missed Bxh6 and checked first, letting him get the file and lose my advantage.
After some sub-optimal play from my opponent, I got hungry and went to the fridge, got food, and then played the incredibly bad Ra4 losing on the spot:
Lessons Learned:
- When you lose focus or get up, spend an extra 30 seconds reviewing the board before playing a move
- Double check your simple calculations
